Villa, now students' hall of residence, built in the early 19th century. The building is of two storeys and is of yellow brick on a stone plinth, with a hipped slate roof. Listed as "(The Limes) College of Ripon and St. John".

Full Description

House, now students' residence. c1840. Yellow brick on stone plinth. Hipped slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. North facade 3 bays. The windows are sashed without glazing bars. At the right there is a single-storey canted bay window with cornice and brick base. The central bay has a doorway with a shallow brick porch and a doorcase with engaged Doric columns and a triglyph frieze. The door has 2 glazed round-headed panels, and an overlight. Chimneys in front of ridge and to right. INTERIOR: not inspected. RCHM records reeded cornices, doors of 4 sunk panels, and a staircase with plain balusters of square section, a slender mahogany handrail, and elaborately-shaped cheekpieces.
