Full Description
Three houses with shops. Late C19. Orange-grey brick, Flemish bond at front, English garden-wall bond at side; orange brick dressings; timber shopfront; cream brick eaves frieze with raised panels of orange brick, beneath moulded modillioned cornice on paired grooved consoles; slate roof, hipped at left side, with brick stacks. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 6-window front. Shopfronts framed in plain pilasters with carved imposts, frieze and modillion cornice: windows are plate glass over moulded panel risers and doors glazed, one original surviving with moulded panel below. Windows on first and second floors are segment-headed 4-pane sashes beneath gauged brick arches with stone keyblocks. First floor windows have painted stone sills; those on second floor are squatter and have painted stone sill band. INTERIOR: not inspected.
