Full Description

Two houses, now offices. Mid C19 with later alterations. Brick with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. The south facade is symmetrical, with a 3-storey brick canted bay window to each side of a central bay which is recessed slightly. The canted bays have sashed windows facing forwards, and sashes without glazing bars to the sides, except on the 2nd floor where the sides have blind recesses. The central bay has sashed windows, and an entrance with a painted stucco porch. This has Ionic columns, pilaster responds, and an entablature which extends above the flanking lights, which have pilasters to left and right. The door has 4 bolection-moulded panels and a plain semicircular overlight. The gutters are carried on rectangular timber brackets. The right-hand return wall, facing east, has a 3-storey brick canted bay window at the right, and 2 bays to the left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
