House and Shop, No. 11, was built probably in the late 16th or early 17th century as a two-storey timber-framed structure comprising one front and one back room. In the 18th century it was largely rebuilt in brick and raised to three storeys, with a chimney inserted between front and back rooms. It then formed one unit with No. 12, which has since been completely rebuilt.
Front and back elevations are stuccoed and much altered. In the back room on the first floor an original corner-post and a cambered tie-beam and joists are exposed.
