Full Description

House. c1840. Brick with painted stone dressings and slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 3 bays. The windows have rusticated painted lintels. The central bay has blind recesses to the upper floors, with similar lintels. The outer bays have glazing bar sash windows, those on the ground floor with external shutters which have 3 panels to each leaf. The doorway has a panelled surround with shallow hood, a door with 6 raised and fielded panels, and a plain rectangular overlight. Modillion gutter cornice. To the right of the central bay there is a fluted lead rainwater hopper and a downpipe. Chimney on right-hand gable, and truncated chimney cap to left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
