Full Description

House. Late C18 and C19 addition. Stuccoed, with roof of Westmorland slates and pantiles. Central hallway entry with one long cross wing to rear left and a shorter one to rear right, and Victorian extension to left. 2 storeys with attics, 3 bays. 6-fielded-panel door with patterned overlight in plain door-case flanked by canted bay windows with 16-pane sashes. First floor: central sash with glazing bars with wrought-iron balcony flanked by 16-pane sashes. Stepped eaves course and sprocketed eaves, with slate to sprockets and pantiles above. 6-pane flat-headed dormers, gable coping, end stacks. Tumbling-in to gable ends. Sashes with glazing bars and hipped roof to left extension. Interior contains original open-string staircase with 3 turned balusters per tread supporting ramped handrail. Elliptical- arched niches to drawing room and dining room.
