Monument record MYO2046 - Strensall Upper Lock

Summary

Strensall upper lock on the Foss Navigation, opened in 1804 . Dressed stone abutments with parapet with buttresses on either side. Now backfilled, gates etc removed, visible only as earthwork but with some iron-work visible above ground.
