Summary
Tract of broad, probably medieval, ridge and furrow surviving in good condition as well developed earthworks, aligned roughly east - west and extending between the Bishopthorpe Road on the west and the river terrace of the Ouse on the east.
R & F visible on 1984 aerial photography, partly destroyed but still visible in South field on 2007 photo
