That on the south side,for the most part, has been levelled by ploughing.

NRM Information:

Aerial photographs record fields of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation in Upper Poppleton parish, to the west and south of the village, but of no great extent. That on the south side,for the most part, has been levelled by ploughing. (1-2)
