PAVING WAS FOUND WHEN THE SHERD WAS RECOVERED. THIS COULD INDICATE A BUILDING?
YAS inventory card - In 1936 the worn rim of a creamy coloured mortarium was found on or near 'paved areas' at 1ft depth over lumps of coal. (YAJ 1938, 215-6)
