Full Description
NMR Information:
A possible Iron Age or Roman settlement was seen as cropmarks on air photographs. The settlement comprises several boundaries and double-ditched trackways and parts of five separate enclosures. The largest enclosure (40m by 38m) appears to be subdivided and has trackways leading up to it. (1)
A further enclosure can be seen as a cropmark on on aerial photographs in addition to those described above.
This cropmark is of what appears to be two sides of an enclosure defined by two parallel ditches 3.5m apart. The cropmark of a boundary previously mapped appears to terminate at the southern end of this enclosure. (2)
