Summary

A series of linear cropmarks in the areas between and adjacent to the runways of Acaster Malbis airfield seen on air photographs. These marks appear to correspond to field boundaries showing on wartime air photographs where the airfield is under camouflage. Presumably the field pattern depicted there corresponds to the original field pattern.

NMR Information:

Oblique aerial photographs of Acaster Malbis airfield show a series of linear cropmarks in the areas between and adjacent to the runways. These appear to correspond to field boundaries showing on wartime aerial photographs where the airfield is under camouflage. Presumably the field pattern depicted there corresponds to the original field pattern. (1-3)
