Summary

World War II searchlight battery lies on the west bank of the river Ouse. The searchlight battery and associated buildings and stuctures are visible on air photographs taken in 1942. Photographs taken in 1986 show the site has been levelled.

NMR Information:

World War II searchlight battery lies on the west bank of the river Ouse, centred at SE 6007 4937. The searchlight battery and associated buildings and stuctures are visible on air photographs taken in 1942. Photographs taken in 1986 show the site has been levelled.
