Full Description

NMR Information:
The earthworks of a military training site (specifically an infantry redoubt) were seen on air photographs. The redoubt is situated within the military training area on Strensall Common. It is polygonal in shape, 40m wide internally, centred at SE 6515 6133. It is defined by two ditches, and considered to be a fairly recent construction.
