Monument record MYO3608 - Settlement and Trackway Nether Poppleton

Summary

Aerial photographs record the cropmark enclosures of a possible settlement in fields flanking Ouse Moor Lane, Upper Poppleton. One enclosure is attached to a linear boundary or trackway, with evidence of several others, con-joined, immediately to the east. A double -ditched trackway runs tangential to the boundary, on an east-west alignment. The date of the features is uncertain, possibly Romano-British.

NMR Information:
