Summary

Trackway: Soilmarks of a ditched trackway, of uncertain date but possibly late prehistoric, in a field to the north of South Fields seen on air photograph. The soilmark trackway runs parallel to the present farm track for approximately 330m but changes alignment south-west at one end. A possible ring-ditch lies adjacent to it. Ring ditch: Soilmarks of a possible ring-ditch, representing a levelled round barrow, north of South Fields seen as on air photograph. The field is crossed by lines of levelled ridge and furrow.

Oblique aerial photographs record the soilmarks of a ditched trackway of uncertain date, possibly late prehistoric, in a field to the north of South Fields. The soilmark trackway runs parallel to the present farm track but changes alignment south-west at one end. A possible ring-ditch lies adjacent to it. The soilmark ditch is approximately 330m long, running from SE 589 442 to SE 589 439. (1)

Oblique aerial photographs record a possible ring-ditch, representing a levelled round barrow, as soilmarks to the north of South Fields (at SE 590 440) . South Field is crossed by lines of levelled ridge and furrow. (1)
