1st Great North Eastern Railway Engine Shed (1839-40), taken out of use before 1851, cut back and adapted as two houses; demolished 1875-6 for approach lines to new coal depot. THIS MONUMENT IS ASSET 1.3 IN THE YORK CENTRAL AUDIT OF HERITAGE ASSETS
