Full Description
Large sandstone block parallel to Fetter Lane and apparently associated with a return wall comprising limestone blocks. Perhaps rear boundary of a property fronting on to Fetter Lane. Top c11.5m OD, bottom c10.75m OD. Striated tooling on underside suggests the sandstone block was a re-used Roman stone block.
