Full Description

The 19th century buildings on Gillygate contribute to the attractive historic street scene and demonstrate a wider variety of styles than those of the 18th century. Nos. 30-36 is a row of four identical buildings with shops on the ground floor and residential use above. There are round-headed windows on the first floor, an element of 'Romanesque' style. Dormer windows with attractive bargeboards protrude from the slate roof. Described as Buildings of Merit in the Historic Core Conservation Area Appraisal.

No.30-32 Generally described as being in fair condition. No.34-36 good-fair condition
