Full Description

This Mid-Victorian church hall is constructed in deep red brick with a Welsh slate room. It was possibly designed by James Demaine along with the Vicarage during the restoration of St Mary’s Church. It has since been used as a Church Hall, Sunday School and more recently a Dance Academy. Known as Mary Mac’s, it was an incredible community asset before being converted into a private dwelling in 2010. It still holds high aesthetic value, being part of the group of three attractive buildings along with St Mary Bishophill Junior and the Vicarage.
