Summary
Cottage in Rowntree Park. Probably designed by Fred Rowntree who made the plan for the layout of the Park. The building occupies a prominent position from where the resident park-keeper was able to supervise activities in the Park. Together with the nearby bridge over the lake and the dovecote memorial, the Lodge creates an important group forming the nucleus of the Park. Nominated for inclusion on the Local List of Heritage Assets.
