Part of the access route from Nunnery Lane through Scarcroft Green and the allotments to the Knavesmire. The historical boundaries play a key role in explaining the historic development of the area and enhancing local distinctiveness. They have communal value, providing access to a large, important recreational space. They have survived the introduction of the cycle route.
