Building record MYO4145 - Methodist Chapel, Hessay
Summary
Built around 1829, with a small schoolroom added later in the 19th century. It is a small simple building with a substantially unaltered interior, now the villages’ only meeting place and valued for this reason. It is also a tangible link with the late Georgian period of history of the village, and very important for this reason. Nominated for inclusion on the Local List of Heritage Assets.
