Monument record MYO4218 - Roman road surface

Three layers of large cobbles (0.2-0.5m diameter) were observed during a watching brief for a sewer trench in 1982. This road is unlikely to be the main Roman road from the SW it is more likely to be a service yard or a minor road. C.0.5m of modern road make up covered the cobbles.
