Summary

An oblique aerial photograph taken in 1987 shows a roughly circular ditched feature overlying ridge and furrow cultivation in a field immediately to the north of Apple Tree Farm, Osbaldwick. The purpose of the feature is unclear; perhaps it represents a horse exercise ring.

NMR Information:

An oblique aerial photograph taken in 1987 shows a roughly circular ditched feature overlying ridge and furrow cultivation in a field immediately to the north of Apple Tree Farm, Osbaldwick. The purpose of the feature is unclear; perhaps it represents a horse exercise ring. (1)
