Summary
The former City of York Asylum. An Echelon-plan asylum built in 1903-6 to designs by A Creer. It comprised a central administration block with three linked L-shaped ward blocks on either side and various detached service blocks. Demolished. Site was redeveloped as the York Designer Outlet Centre.
