Full Description

NMR Information:

A rim of mortarium was found in 1936, by Mr Atkinson of Bilbrough, on the Leeds University Farm between the main York-Tadcaster road and the Copmanthorpe Road. 'Paving' found may indicate an R.B. dwelling-site. (1)

Mr. Atkinson indicated the approximate position of this find at SE 55754695 (2)
