Summary
Aircraft BB210 was a Handley Page Halifax Mark II British heavy bomber. It was one of a batch of 200 such aircraft delivered betwen January 1942 and July 1943, by the London Aircraft Production Group. The aircraft served with 405 and 1659 (Communications Unit) Squadrons. It crashed after losing power 2 miles south of Rufforth, on the 15th of Semptember 1943. The location of this aircraft is very approximate, and could in fact be in the Parish of Askham Richard.
