NMR Information

Purpose built public house of 1937, designed by the Tadcaster architect B Wilson for John Smiths brewery. The building was completely unaltered with the tap room, smoke room and outsales retaining their originally fittings and decorations. The lease of the building expired in 1993 and it was under threat of closure/demolition. The building has since been demolished.
