Base and shaft of cross. Probably C13. Magnesian limestone. Base square on plan with octagonal shaft approximately 1.5 metres high.

NMR Information:

[Marginal] In the churchyard [at Dunnington] are the remains of an ancient cross.

SE 66835270 The remains of the cross stand on the south side of the church in the accepted position for a churchyard cross, and consist of a socket-stone and portion of shaft adapted for use as a sun-dial. See G.P.
