Full Description

Blast shelter recorded by the Pillbox Study Group associated with Clifton airfield.

Assessed and visited February 2023 by York University student Joseph Keeley as part of Raids Over York Project. Height 140cm, width 936cm and length/depth 901cm.

This shelter is mostly intact and shows minor wear. The shelter is extremely overgrown and completely unaccessible. Unable to determine condition of interior.

Described as medium condition - mostly complete, some damage to the structure but original form still recognisable.
