Full Description

Location of a Stanton shelter recorded by the Pillbox Study Group.

Assessed and visited February 2023 by York University student Joseph Keeley as part of Raids Over York Project. Height 140cm, width 936cm and length/depth 901cm.

This shelter is almost unrecognisable, it has been infilled with earth and become somewhat overgrown with vegetation. It is only apparent by the remains of the entrances which mirror MYO5204, the evidence of brick rubble and the internal wall which shows in places through the earth.

Condition described as very bad - structure could only be interpreted through research of the area or prior knowledge, minor evidence of remains can be interpreted.
