Full Description

House, now 2 dwellings. Probably late C18, raised to 2 storeys in C19, with C20 alteration. Brick in Flemish bond beneath string course, and English garden wall bond above, C20 pantile roof. Central entry. 2 storeys, 2 bays. C20 four-panel door beneath elliptical arch flanked by C20 fixed windows in enlarged openings. 3-course band, formerly the eaves band. First floor: 2-light Yorkshire sashes. End stacks. Tumbling-in to gable end suggests former low roofline. North Yorkshire and Cleveland Vernacular Buildings Study Group Report No 495.
