Full Description

Pair of houses. Early C19 with later alteration. No.13 stuccoed; No.14 of pink and grey mottled brick in Flemish bond; slate roof with brick stacks. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-window front. Central doorcase of attached fluted columns, plain frieze and moulded cornice, with 6-panel door beneath bordered overlight recessed in panelled reveal. C20 shopfronts. In No.13, first floor window is 16-pane sash, and on second floor one 20-pane sash and one 8-pane sash: No.14 has two 12-pane sashes on each floor. All windows have channelled wedge lintels with keyblocks and painted stone sills. Left return: on first and second floors, 12-pane sashes with painted stone sills and painted flat arches.
