Full Description
House. c1840. Brick with painted stone dressings and slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 2 bays. The windows to the upper storeys are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches. The 1st floor windows have a sill band. In the right-hand bay on the ground floor there is a canted bay window which has sashes without glazing bars and a dentilled cornice. In the left-hand bay there is a doorcase which has pilasters with raised and fielded panels, reveals with recessed panels, and a cornice on brackets. Above the door, which has 6 raised and fielded panels, is an overlight with margin panes. Modillioned timber gutter cornice. Shared chimney at left, and gable chimney at right in front of ridge.
