Full Description

Pair of houses. c1840 with C20 shopfronts. Colour-washed plaster at front, incised render elsewhere; timber eaves box; brick-coped slate roof with skylights and brick stacks. EXTERIOR: 3-storey, 2-window front. Double shopfront of plain pilasters with imposts and moulded cornice has central panelled door with blocked overlight. No.27 has panelled door and plate glass shop window with sliding transom lights, over panelled riser; No.28 has altered door and small-pane shop window. First and second floor windows to No.27 are paired 4-pane sashes; those to No.28 12-pane sashes with slender glazing bars. INTERIORS: not inspected.
