Full Description

Pair of houses. Mid C19, renovated in C20; No.7 has earlier origins. Orange-brown brick in Flemish bond and orange-cream brick in Flemish and English garden-wall bonds; right return of red-brown brick in stretcher bond; timber doorcases and paired modillion guttering; pantile roof with brick stacks. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-window front. Both houses have doorcases of pilasters with imposts and plain cornice hoods: No.6 has door of 6 sunk panels, No.7 a 4-panel door, both with bordered overlights. No.6 has 16-pane sash windows on ground and first floor, unequal 9-pane sash on second floor: all have narrow painted sills and cambered brick arches: ground floor window has flush panel shutters. No.7 has two 12-pane sash windows with narrow painted sills and segmental brick arches on all floors. INTERIOR: not inspected.
