Abstract/Summary
Between the 8th of May 2013 and the 12th of July 2013, York Archaeological Trust carried out an excavation and archaeological watching brief on land at 32 Lawrence Street, York.
This was to enable the recording and excavation of any archaeological remains encountered during the enabling works before the construction of a number of new accommodation blocks. The monitoring was required as the site was located within York’s Area of Archaeological Importance.
