Heritage statement prepared as supporting information for the proposed redevelopment of the southeastern area of the former Nestle chocolate factory, Haxby Road, York, North Yorkshire, now known as ‘the Cocoa Works’. The focus of the report is to assess the heritage significance of the site in relation to the proposed development scheme and to consider the resultant impact upon the immediate setting of the site.
