Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at 23 The Green, Acomb on the 17th of October 2017. The works involved a trial trench and the monitoring of two engineering test pits. During the courses of the excavation no significant archaeological remains were uncovered. Natural sands were encountered at a shallow depth and following inspection of the bank at the eastern boundary of the site it appears that the land has been previously terraced.
