Abstract/Summary
This report covers the timbers excavated by York Archaeological Trust at the General Accident site, 24-30 Tanner Row, York between May 1983 and July 1984. It is a research project prepared with a grant from the Museums resilience Fund and is intended as a summary of the evidence recovered for timber use and woodworking technology from this excavation. A separate report by J McComish summarises the stratigraphic sequence.
