Abstract/Summary
On 4th December 2009, York Archaeological Trust undertook an archaeological watching brief to the
West of Walmgate Bar.
The area of the trench had been comprehensively disturbed by previous utility trenches from gas
and water as well as sewage and a number of pipes crossed the area.
