Abstract/Summary
Holes for the erection of the telegraph poles were hand excavated under archaeological supervision, by the contractor, to a depth of 1.8m within hole 1 and to 0.30m in hole two below the present ground surface. No deposits relating to burials, or burial activities were located or recorded during the watching brief.
