This part of the site had been substantially truncated by brick built cellars, including brick floors at a depth of c. 1.7m below the existing ground level. The floors are sufficiently stable to allow construction without their removal. Therefore the only deposit to be impacted upon is loose cellar backfill, which is likely to date to the mid-late 20th century when the social club building was extended.
