Watching brief during stripping of the northernmost plot on the site to a formation level of approximately 600mm below present ground level (at the Rosslyn Street back lane boundary). Nothing of archaeological significance was observed. All deposits visible at the formation level were clearly made-up ground dating from the late 19th century or later based on artefacts observed but not retained.
