Abstract/Summary
The trench was excavated in short stretches and backfilled to minimise disruption to traffic and pedestrians. The trench was generally c.0.45m wide and varied in depth from c.0.6m to 1m. No features of archaeological note were recorded and recovered finds dated to the 19th century.
