Source/Archive record SYO2528 - Manor Boarding House, St. Peter’s School, York

Title Manor Boarding House, St. Peter’s School, York
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2014

Abstract/Summary

Nothing of any archaeological significance was observed. The results of the watching brief show that the test pits were located within an area damaged by previous building works. The potential of natural deposits being present in the base of TP 2 and 3 suggested that this damage could have penetrated down to at least 0.64m BGL in TP2 and 0.80m BGL in TP3, although this does not preclude the fact that natural deposits may survive to a higher level close by.
