Abstract/Summary
The study site lies within an area where ridge and furrow earthworks have been recorded. However, any ridge and furrow will have been removed during the construction of the car park. The potential for the presence of currently unknown archaeological remains is a considered to be high for the Roman periods and low for all other periods. Archaeological remains are likely to have been removed from the western portion of the study site during quarrying activity. The eastern portion will have also been subject to impacts during the construction of the car park itself.
