Title 32-34 Clarence St
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2021

Abstract/Summary

The investigation comprised the archaeological monitoring during the excavation of foundations for the new walkway. The investigation only revealed a thick heavily disturbed 19th century garden/plough soil and a shallow former garden wall foundation of a similar date. Natural deposits were not reached. No earlier archaeological features or finds were detected during the investigation. This is at least in part due to the relatively shallow depth of the excavations.
