Abstract/Summary
A watching brief on ground works for the laying of a new electrical joint bay and ducting undertaken by York Archaeological Trust on behalf of Northern Powergrid. No in-situ archaeological remains were observed, possibly due to truncation by modern activity, although in situ remains may survive at a greater depth.
